The wire format is the contract.

Why this matters

Alliance-interoperable from day one. Not bolted on after the win.

In a coalition environment, the question is never does the AI get it right — it’s can you show your work to a partner who didn’t collect the data. Most fusion engines treat classification as a field on a JSON object: re-stampable, lossy in transit, quietly altered. The alliance answer is a typed wire format that binds the label, the data, and the chain of custody into a single tamper-evident artifact. Nortex emits that artifact natively.

Picture-level

Alliance-clean wire format.

Every fused track ships in the wire format the alliance already speaks — no translation middleware, no bespoke gateway, no third-party re-classifier in the path. A NORAD-side consumer sees the same picture a Canadian watchfloor sees, with the same provenance attached.

Track-level

Signed at the point of fusion.

Source, sensor, model stance, and operator action bound into a tamper-evident chain of custody. The receiver verifies the binding; if it fails, the track is rejected — not silently re-stamped, not laundered through a partner cache.

Federation

NATO-aligned mission networking.

The classification posture, the federation patterns, the handling caveats — Nortex emits them natively. A Canadian deployment slots into a NORAD, NORDEFCO, or alliance federation picture without per-partner translation logic.

The next decade

Zero-trust data carriage.

The emerging coalition pattern carries policy with the data at rest and in motion. Nortex’s provenance-first stance is a drop-in candidate for that carriage when the spec stabilises — we are already shaped right.

Verifiable

Open the artifact. Verify the binding. Trust the track.

Operators verify the chain of custody locally — every track, every fusion, every operator action — without leaving the watchfloor. Evaluators verify the same artifact externally using off-the-shelf alliance verification toolchains. Strip the UI away and the picture still holds.

Tamper-evidentChange the data, change the label — the binding fails.
DefensibleIn front of an admiral, a coalition partner, a parliamentary committee, or a court.
PortableThe artifact travels with the data, not behind it.
Alliance-cleanNo translation, no re-classifier, no third party in the trust path.
Verify it yourself

Bring a partner toolchain. We hand you the artifact.

Bring an alliance gateway, a federation node, or a partner verifier. We hand you a signed picture and let you open it on your own surface.
